About ET Architects
ET Architects is an internationally vanguard design and exploratory architecture firm.
The firm is committed to exploring the future of architecture, carrying out architectural practice with humanities and technology as the core, and creating a sustainable future living space that integrates people, nature and architecture.
“E” stands for Emotion. We take design inspiration from ideological fields such as humanities, society, environment, politics and art, and condense design stories.“T” stands for Technology. We study the feasibility of construction from artificial intelligence, robotic fabrication, new materials etc. and explore traditional craftsmanship and digital fabrication. From large-scale urban design to urban complexes, from various buildings to art installations, across different scales and types of boundaries, enrich human spirit and space experience, explore the integration of design and construction, and create more possibilities for the future living environment.
Founder & Principal Partner
Jinjing Yu, Founder of ET Architects,is dedicated in multidisciplinary collaborations,innovative design and researches. He was awarded his master degree of Architecture from London’s Architectural Association, also was elected as a chartered architect of the RIBA.
In recent years, Jinjing Yu has led many architecture projects including Anji Talent Community Center, Taizhou Huangyan Wanglinyang Complex, Shenzhen Maxonic Headquarter, Xi’an Fengdong New Town Laixin Community Center(EID) and etc., responsible for the entire design process from conceptual design to completion. His works have won many international competition design rights and design awards. Prior to founding ET Architects, He worked for world wide influential design firms including MAD, 10 Design, EID. He has been actively involved in academic research and events, serving as a work camp tutor at Hong Kong University, AA Beijing Visiting School and an undergraduate external lecturer at Tsinghua University.
Principal Partner
Yunfu Yi joined ET Architects in 2022 as a partner. He was awarded a Master of Architecture from London’s Architectural Association and won the best graduation design of the year.
Before joining, Yunfu Yi works at Foster + Partners London office, with years of experience in practice he has worked on a wide spectrum of building types and large scale masterplans. He has been involved in design and management in various high profile developments across the world. Since 2016, he has been working on the new Headquarters for DJI, a world’s leader in robotics manufacturer. From concept to construction, he has been working on the twin towers – each of which is 200m tall. He is responsible for liasion with client, external consultants and contractors on site design coordination. His design works have been exhibited at the Victoria and Albert Museum, Kaohsiung International Art Festival, and Beijing Design Week.
